2024 Paint Palette Trends: What to color your interiors?

Another year comes and goes, and color trends change, especially when it comes to interiors and indoor paints, picking a new color can be a daunting experience without the help of a guide so a paint palette can be a helpful tool when it comes to finding the perfect color. And with suggestions from Martha Stewart, HGTV, Good Housekeeping, and more, what better time of the year to start a fresh coat of paint in your home, than the upcoming summer season? And what better time to spend Summer with a fresh coat of paint on your home?

Neutral paint are still in trend and are a timeless choice. Classy colors such as Cracked Pepper, a soft black that seeks to emulate the spice’s colors, Limitless, a warm yet fresh neutral hue, to the soft and sweet Honey Beige. And combining such palettes with more vibrant tones of beige, brown, taupe, deeper blacks, and greys, and paler colors for contrast for that minimalist look that never goes old. Great for those who want a more low-key atmosphere in their home and bring more attention to other pieces in their house.

Another paint palette to consider is blues and greens to evoke peace and serenity. Combining different shades of blues and greens along with neutrals to reflect a bit of nature in one’s home. From Blue Nova 825, a deep rich blue that brings out cool and calm sophistication, to the softer and subtle hues of Upward and Skipping Stones to a soft yet vibrant Bluebird, reflecting the vastness and calm sophistication of water and the sky. On the other hand, one could consider Oakmoss or Viridis, offering a deep and sophisticated take of green to bring layers of complexity to one’s home. Rounding this odd with softer mints and sage or subtle greys with soft hints of blues and greens as well for something more low-key yet sophisticated and calming.

On the warmer end of the spectrum, Pantone’s color of the year, Peach Fuzz and Persimmon evoke a playfulness with a soft, warm, and homey tone to liven up the home. Leading well to contemporary styles that can be paired with deeper and richer Browns and earth colors. Giving that home a more playful energy, pairing and breaking it up with many other neutrals from richer greys to simple whites for a dynamic color palette that can evoke the feeling of friendliness and a hospitable atmosphere.
